The beach is just a short stroll away from Lonsdale Palms. The house is a short driving / public transport distance to Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads, Geelong and the Great Ocean Road. There is also a dedicated bike riding trail that is newly established.
Swim with the dolphins, go diving, book a fishing charter and visit the historical fort, the marine museum and local galleries. Explore the Bellarine food trail and the many wineries.
Both Point Lonsdale and Queenscliffe can be accessed by foot or bicycle using a purpose-built bike/pedestrian path or by way of a stroll along the beach to very good coffee shops or great views at the lighthouses.
Alternatively, a two-minute ride in the car will see you in the heart of either town and ready for sightseeing or shopping. You can enjoy dinner and music, take the family to the Marine Discovery Centre, feed stingrays or play a round of golf at the numerous local courses.
The Bellarine Peninsula also boasts several great wineries and a tasty array of cafes and restaurants for your enjoyment. All within a 15-minute drive from Lonsdale Palms Accommodation.

Queenscliff – Sorrento Ferry Service The spectacular 40-minute trip on the Queenscliff Sorrento Ferry Service links Melbourne’s most magnificent coastal regions: the Bellarine Peninsula and Mornington Peninsula. Both destinations have a vast number of attractions to explore. Then, from Sorrento on the Mornington Peninsula, it’s a leisurely 2-hour scenic drive to Phillip Island and the famous Penguin Parade. From Queenscliff on the Bellarine Peninsula, you’re very close to the glorious Great Ocean Road.
